Hi, I’m ASCE, a nerd obsessed with low-level security because apparently, I enjoy staring at assembly code, overthinking my life choices, and pretending I’m way smarter than I actually am. Exploit development, reverse engineering, and malware analysis? Yeah, that’s what makes me excited. Basically, If it’s confusing, frustrating, and makes me question my sanity, I’m probably all over it.
But, I didn’t dive straight into this madness, though..
Story time:
Once upon a time, I was a web developer. It was fun, gave me a good base, and also taught me patience (because debugging Houdini JS feels like trying to train a wild raccoon, it does whatever it wants, and you just cry). But to this day, I still enjoy web security, breaking web apps and then leaving the fixing to developers.
Now about this blog:
It’s my personal junkyard. I use it to dump CTF write-ups, rants about stuff I’ve Googled too much, random research experiments and notes for future me, (who will definitely forget them anyway). If it helps you save some time, congrats - you owe me snacks.
Now, here’s what I plan to dump on this blog:
- Malware reversing deep dives (or as I call it, staring contests with code. Why Sleep ?).
- Web security write-ups (aka “how I broke this”).
- CTF write-ups for the three people who might care.
- Tools I build to avoid doing boring stuff manually. (GitHub: yourpwnguy, shameless plug).
What’s the big dream?
- Hacking systems while sipping tea (because coffee is banned in this house, thanks, Mom).
- Working at top tech companies where I can legally break into their systems, and report bugs. Basically, getting paid to do what I’d probably do for free (don’t tell HR).
Thanks for visiting! If you have suggestions, ideas, or just want me to ramble about something specific, let me know. I’d love to hear from you.
Cheers,
ASCE
